Newfo is a mini re-edition of the 1977 Ufo, the first spotlight to bring the precision of theatre lighting to the world of architecture by incorporating the low-voltage halogen lamp.  Come to discover Newfo and Ufo in the Primitive Hut of the installation by Alfonso Femia / *AF Design, in a scenario that simulates bygone time, revealing the universal convergence of past and future.    Ateliers Alfonso Femia (formerly 5+1AA)    photo: Stefano Anzini    #LightThatMovesTime #iguzzini #alfonsofemia #mdw24 Discover more: https://lnkd.in/g37Td86m

#mdw24: LIGHT THAT MOVES TIME, via Brera 5, Milan A journey through space and time in a retro-futurist set, from our latest innovations, to the iGuzzini Echoes re-editions. Register: https://ow.ly/p3uC50RhiQN ✨The Primitive Hut An evocative shape of the truncated cone greets visitors, recalling early human dwellings. Here, the contrast between ancient and modern harmoniously blends, with the light of the Newfo spotlight mounted on the Filorail track (the thinnest in the world) marrying the iconic Ufo of the past, creating an atmosphere that celebrates the universal convergence of epochs. ✨In between This second area is a representation of the encounter between past and future. It celebrates the present and continues our imaginative and emotional journey. Suspended from reflective discs, in a metaphorical reference to the reverse journey from the future to the past, we find the new collections Newfo (suspended on the Filorail track), BeTwo and Libera. ✨Time before time In a retro-futuristic setting, characterised by mirrored walls, we are immersed in an ethereal space where the roots of the iGuzzini Echoes collection merge with advanced technologies. Cespuglio, Clan, Polsino, Nitia, Sorella and Zurigo are inserted in a context projected forwards in time to create a union between past, present and future. Design Exhibit: Alfonso Femia /AF* Design Ateliers Alfonso Femia (formerly 5+1AA) Everyday from 10 am to 8 pm, except Wednesday and Sunday with closing at 6 pm. 📷Fabio Di Carlo #MDW24 #iGuzzini #alfonsofemia #LightThatMovesTime

The new ethnographic museum building is part of the large urban-cultural development 'Liget Budapest Project'. Thanks to the international competition won by Napur Architect, the building stands out with its dynamic and simple design, perfectly integrated into the Városliget park and the urban environment. ✨The Laser Blade recessed luminaires welcome visitors with general lighting, but it is outdoors that the light direction adds magic to the architecture. Linealuce mini luminaires are used on the two wings of the building. With Wall Grazing optics, they provide security and create a line of light in the overall view. We continue our collaborations on projects carried out by G124, Senator Renzo Piano's working group on the suburbs and the city that will be: this is the redevelopment of Piazza Masslo in Rovigo (Commenda Est district). Today the inauguration and presentation to the city. In the words of Giulio Scabin (Italy Sales Director iGuzzini) the reasons behind the involvement of the company: "It is a project that embraces and reflects the raison d'être of our company: 'moving' ideas, consciences and above all things to improve people's quality life". Accessibility, hospitality, identity and security. These are the four key principles on which the project of redevelopment is based. ✨UFO pole-mounted luminaires, with energy-saving LED technology, were used to create general lighting that not only gives a greater sense of security in the evening hours, but also allows a very high visual comfort. ✨Palco InOut spotlights were instead used to illuminate the all-wood pavilion that creates a connection between the square and the parish area, and the stage for the various initiatives that the neighbourhood wishes to organise. "The National Portrait Gallery Director Nicholas Cullinan’s main request was to bring light into the building. He also wanted to open up the collection already on display and combine it with the world-class collection of photographs and works on paper. This meant meeting the challenge of controlling and exploiting daylight and integrating it with the highest quality of lighting in the gallery. The key was to design a carefully choreographed light journey that would respond to the content and architecture, and create a new, engaging, balanced and beautiful visitor experience."✨ Zerlina Hughes, Studio ZNA Creative Director Products used: Palco Discover the project: https://lnkd.in/dshJBn3 Client National Portrait Gallery Architectural project: Jamie Fobert Architects Cultural heritage consultant: Purcell Architects Interpretation and Exhibition Design: Studio Nissen Richards Lighting Design for permanent and temporary exhibition galleries: Studio ZNA MEP engineers: Max Fordham Photographer: Gareth Gardner
